About Donald R. Smith
“Donnie” was born and raised in South Louisiana, where he married Linda and started a family at a young age. They had one son, Jacob. Donnie had a profound and lasting passion for pursuing a career in law enforcement. His book recounts a forty-six-year journey, from starting as a police officer in his small hometown to retiring as a Federal Agent after living and working in numerous large cities across the country. The facts and narratives come from his handwritten journals, which he maintained over the years, filled with numerous unforgettable memories, some of which may seem nearly unbelievable!
